This category is open to all retailers who fulfil customer orders using the store network, its resources and infrastructure. This can take many forms, including click and collect (whether picked from store, centrally picked or vendor shipped and collected at store); save the sale - picking from an alternative store for home delivery or click and collect.


This category is open to any retailer which fulfils orders received via digital channels and touchpoints. It seeks to identify differentiated service and ease of doing business in the order fulfilment process. We are looking also for innovation in the design of the fulfilment offer and the effective use of technology.


This category rewards those retailers who are selling to overseas customers and providing a differentiated fulfilment experience. It seeks to identify the most effective examples of order fulfilment in terms of time, cost and flexibility. We welcome joint submissions with commercial partners offering technology and / or services support as part of the overall offer.


This category rewards strength and effectiveness of commercial partnering arrangements between retailers and 3PLs, with an emphasis on win-win. It seeks to identify Innovative or differentiated services offered as well as evidence of end customer orientation and service focus.


This category rewards the innovative use of technology to deliver a range of potential outcomes. These may include differentiating fulfilment offers from competitors, delivering a better customer experience, reducing costs or improving the quality of collaboration between business functions or commercial partners.


This category is open to any retailer which has an annual turnover of less than $50million. It seeks to identify leading edge fulfilment services delivered without the benefits of significant scale. It will recognise those retailers who creatively addressed the needs of their customers to provide a brand-enhancing delivery experience while overcoming lack of scale efficiencies.


This category is designed to showcase and champion the best disruptors in the retail fulfilment sector. It reflects the rise of new digitally-enabled fulfilment-related businesses offering new fulfilment models and challenging established ways of doing business in fulfilment. It also highlights the retailers who are taking radically different and disruptive approaches to customer fulfilment.


Overall Categories

This category will not be directly nominated. A shortlist of candidates will be drawn up by the judging panel based on the collective submissions across all categories. It will not be determined by those 3PLs with most mentions or co-submissions, but will focus rather on the quality and effectiveness of the services provided.

This category will not be directly nominated. All category winners will be shortlisted, with a view to determining the retailer which has delivered industry leading fulfilment for its customers - the retail fulfilment “best of the best”.
